Meet Lalia Khoudeida, PLMHP, PCMSW, Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner.

Bio
Lalia is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner and draws her work inspiration from her life journey. Having arrived in the United States as a refugee, she experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating a new culture and accessing resources. Now, as a Behavioral Health Consultant, she’s dedicated to supporting patients from diverse backgrounds, helping them build trust in the mental health process and move forward with resilience.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field she has developed a wrap-around approach to care. She specializes in supporting individuals and families facing complex traumas, mental health challenges, and cultural adjustments. Fluent in Kurdish, English, and Arabic Laila’s authentic approach helps bridge cultural gaps and create meaningful connections with her patients.
Lalia offers compassionate care for adolescents and adults, addressing disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD. She believes strongly in the importance of building rapport and providing a safe space for her patients, many of whom have lived in survival mode, often without a name for the struggles they face. By listening deeply and approaching care with humility and authenticity, she helps her patients see they are not alone.
Lalia embraces an active lifestyle—whether it’s taking family walks, enjoying yoga, or energizing herself with Zumba. A passionate traveler, she seeks out opportunities to immerse herself in new cultures and create lasting memories.
Guided by a philosophy of care rooted in curiosity and empathy, Lalia is dedicated to cultivating a healthcare environment where every patient feels empowered, heard, and truly supported. She provides behavioral health care at our Kreshel Clinic and Main Clinic.
